Position
The Promotions Manager is responsible for developing and implementing online and offline marketing programs and communications that will continue to build this brand across Europe, focusing particularly on France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. The company is a major online consumer-orientated travel business.
The Manager will develop strategies and communications programs that drive brand awareness and build consumer engagement on the site. He/she will have responsibility for generation of promotional opportunities and the implementation of these initiatives working with partners and marketing agencies, and internally with engineering, sales, and the overall marketing team. These initiatives will include targeted marketing and the management of promotions on the European sites and partners’ sites as well as offline communications with media partners, in PR, etc. The candidate must be comfortable utilizing many different tactics to communicate effectively to consumers.
Responsibilities:
• Planning a annual promotional campaign for each European market, to fulfill the brand awareness and engagement objectives, ensuring that promotions are culturally appropriate and locally relevant
• Evaluate promotional opportunities proposed by partners
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to implement these promotions so that resources are engaged efficiently and effectively
• Evaluate promotional results including the application of the relevant test structures and metrics to ensure that each promotion is optimised
Requirements
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer promotions in two or more European countries, with experience in tailoring brand messaging and positioning to local markets
• Proven track record of developing promotional partnerships from scratch and implementing them efficiently and effectively
• Very good knowledge of the internet, online marketing technologies and offline marketing
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language
