Client
Leading European consumer online service is recruiting a senior Manager to lead their London office. Working closely with other country teams and responsible for driving the business in the UK & Ireland.
Position
Core responsibilities:
Managing existing Partners and developing new partnerships, primarily with UK media businesses
Monitor competition and market opportunities.
Data monitoring
Marketing on and off line
Business Development
P&L responsibilty
Requirements
Experience and attributes
o At least 5 years in the online publishing market – preferably for a major player (medium or portal)
o Advantageous (but not essential) to have a newspaper/magazine online publishing background
o Good understanding of online marketing opportunities and methods such as SEM, affiliate, email and general online display.
o To have a view on and some knowledge of new opportunities (e.g. mobile and social software)
o Appreciation of offline marketing opportunities (print/TV/posters)
o Good skills with all standard Microsoft Office applications
o To have a professional and confident demeanour
o Have good presentation skills which instil confidence in the audience and lend credibility to the sales story
