The European market is growing very fast and becoming more and more important. To help the company grow, we are currently looking for an experienced director for the European head office in Barcelona: European Director Content Strategy & Design (m/f).
Position
In this role you will lead and expand the European Content Strategy and Design team. This team develops business strategies aimed at optimizing the company's online design library and creating design templates to better meet the needs of European customers. Content consists of the thousands of designs the company offers to the customers and the possibilities to personalize them.
Your goal is to turn content into a key competitive advantage. By analyzing customer behaviour, evaluating key metrics, understanding market trends and extensive testing you increase conversion rates, revenue and customer satisfaction. You will set metrics for measuring the success of new content after launch.
Requirements
You have 10+ years of experience in a related field like online-shopping / e-commerce, web merchandising or direct marketing and a proven track record of driving value through customer centric strategies.
You are very analytical and are able to think strategically and track trends in key industries and among competitors. You have a solid understanding of the European customer - including tastes and preferences - and a high degree of creativity and a good eye for style/design. You don't need to be a graphic artist, but the position requires a balance of business/strategic skills and artistic sense.
