Our client is the leading online supplier of design services and customized products to small businesses and consumers worldwide. The company offers a broad spectrum of personalized products on 19 localized websites to customers in more than 120 countries. It has been one the best performing IPOs during the past few years and its quarterly revenue rose over 30 percent year over year. The European market is growing very fast and becoming more and more important. To help the company grow, we are currently looking for an experienced Director for the European head office in Barcelona: European Director Product Marketing - Consumer Products (m/f).
Position
In this exciting position you will manage a small team for the conceptualization, optimization and expansion of the company's Consumer & Promotional Product Line. You will own the revenue target for this product line and will not only analyze the performance of this product line, but also proactively identify areas of opportunity, define and implement test plans and make recommendations to drive the consumer product strategy and the devlopment of new products.
You will work hands on to build up the product line as well as a team with the further growth. As manager of this team you will set directions and motivate them to come up with innovative new products while improving existing ones.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has professional experience in an e-commerce environment, ideally in combination with consumer goods. This leading role requires:
- Bachelors degree; preferred majors: Economics, Marketing, Business or other relevant
- Professional experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably in relation to consumer goods
- Excellent analytical skills - ability to build excel models to aid in business decision-making
- Structured, logical thinking even when working in a fast-paced environment under tight timeframes
- Strong entrepreneurial instinct with a focus on end-results
- Experience in leading a team and motivating the team to bring them to new heights
